Today we made one of our favourite easy recipes, Cheesy pasta, we make it with broccoli and tuna.
If you want to make this, this is what you need:
100g pasta shapes per child
1/2 can of tuna in oil per child
4/5 pieces of broccoli per child
a big had full of grated cheese
salt and pepper ( if you like)
In a big pot add lots of water, not to the top a bit more than half, Mom says you need lots of water for pasta so that it cooks properly and doesn't stick together and go mushey.
The water needs to bubble before you add pasta, let it cooks for 15 minutes about halfway through add the broccoli to the top of the water.
drain the water by pouring the pasta into a sieve, then put the pasta back into the pot, add the cheese and stir really well, it won't matter if the broccoli breaks, it makes the pasta pretty, add the tuna and stir some more.
Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with some more cheese if you like.
We also like this with bread sticks.
